The Government of the Virgin Islands is currently inviting interested and qualified persons to apply for the position of ‘Chairperson of the Board of Directors’ for the Social Security Board.
The Chairperson of the Social Security Board shall serve as presiding officer of the Board of Directors with essential tasks including:
- Providing leadership to the board
- Overseeing that proper information is disbursed to the board
- Planning and conducting board meetings effectively
- Involving all directors in the board’s work
- Ensuring the board focuses on its key tasks
- Engaging the board in assessing and improving its performance
- Supporting the Director
